Market Samurai - Keyword and Market Research
As you may know, I've moved away from using Brainstormer for my Keyword Research. It's not because there is anything wrong with it. It's just that I think I've found something I like better. It's called Market Samurai.
I like Market Samurai because I can get a big-picture understanding of a niche far more quickly. I also like it because it's more intuitive to use than Brainstormer.
Again the goal of Keyword and Market Research is to find the answers to these four questions...
- What keyword phrases are being used the most in my prospective niche?
- What competition do those keywords have from other websites?
- Is there sufficient "buying intention" in this niche to make money?
- Can I rank on the first page for that keyphrase? In other words... how big is the mountain I have to climb?
Market Samurai gives me all the tools to get answers to these questions... and more. I can't begin to tell you how much time the SEO Competition module saved me just by itself. It kept me from going down some dead-end streets.
But remember...
ALL keyword research tools use information based on historical data. These tools show you the past. They cannot predict the future... or even the present for that matter. Keep that in mind as you use any tool.
Here's a video I created that shows a quick overview of Market Samurai. It does not get into great depth. I recommend you download the free trial to get a better idea of all the things that Market Samurai can do.
But the video will give you a good sense of the speed and tools available. Watch it just so you an see the SEO Competition Module in action, if for no other reason.
